About Us

About Salsa Manchester

The Salsa Manchester organisation was created in October 2010. The Salsa scene in Manchester has existed for longer than in almost any other European country - about 15-20 years, but surprisingly remains very small. Since 2010 we have taught Cuban Salsa and Bachata around Manchester in many locations (Cuba Cafe, Manchester University, Royal Northern college of music, Community Centres in Salford and Rusholme). In 2012 we decided to open our own dance school - "La Suerte Dance School", to provide dance classes on a daily basis, to give our students the opportunity to learn and explore Cuban dance and culture.

Our goal is to refresh and grow the Latin dance community in Manchester, improve the dancing level and promote Cuban Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba across Manchester
