Bachata is a romantic dance, which was created and developed in the Dominican Republic. It's a lot slower and it can appear a lot easier than salsa. There are a few different styles of bachata - the most popular is "Italian Style" - partners dance close to each other, doing many turn patterns and body movements. "Dominican Style" is a lot more complicated. The main chellange is to lead the follower, to the footwork using hands and body position. "Bachata Sensual" is an experimental class. We focus mostly on body movement. Leading and following using every body part (all almost every). We could say it is the most effective style. It includes a lot of dips and tricks. If you want to show off, this class is for you! This is also one of the classes you will learn how to control your body, and how to use this skill in dancing.
We teach a mixture of styles. We focus mostly on proper leading and following techniques, we introduce a lot of movement patterns and sequences, you learn a "bachata language". In the later stage of the course you will learn some dominican bachata steps, footworks and shines.
